Born in Rome, he studied under the tutelage of Isabel Gentile; then he specialized in Vocal Chamber Music with Hartmut Höll at Mozarteum (Salzburg). He worked, among the others, with M. W. Chung, Z. Mehta, B. Bartoletti, G. Noseda, C. Gibault, D. Callegaris, Lu Jia, F. Maestri, E. Mazzola, P. Morandi, E. Morricone, P. Olmi, M. Panni, Z. Pesko, E. Pidò, V. Spivakov, M. Tabachnik, A. Tamayo, J. Webb, A. Zedda, e con i registi quali D. Abbado, PierAlli, R. Carsen, G. Barberio Corsetti, G. Cobelli, H. De Ana, La Fura dels Baus, G. Gallione, W. Le Moli, D. Livermore, V. Malosti, M. Martone, D. Bressan for Baroque repertoire. He sang in Italian theaters such as Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia in Roma, Teatro alla Scala di Milano, Teatro Massimo di Palermo, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Fenice e Biennale di Venezia, Arena di Verona, Teatro Regio di Torino, Opera di Roma, Orchestra Nazionale della RAI, Sagra Malatestiana di Rimini, Sagra Musicale Umbra, Festival di Ravello and abroad in Montecarlo, Parigi, Bordeaux, Lyon, Nizza, Lisbona, Barcellona, Madrid, Bilbao, Köln, Vienna, Oslo, Bruxelles, Budapest, Toronto, New York, Washinghton, Buenos Aires, S. Paolo, Città del Messico, Istanbul,Tokyo, Kyoto, Singapore,Hong Kong, Taipei. He made recordings for Virgin, Opus 111, Naxos, Stradivarius, Tactus e Fonè. He teaches Vocal Chamber Music repertoire in "G. Briccialdi" Conservatory in Terni. He's also Vocal Technique and Italian Opera repertoire teacher and "Artist in residence" at Middlebury College Summer School in Mills College, Oakland, California.
